PA high school T&F watchers have to be lifted by the performances of PA d7 WPIAL New Balance Nationals stars Madison Wiltrout-Connellsville (national female javelin record holder plus all 4 years state champ and despite a serious elbow operation--keeping everything moving ahead in her training and recuperation), Jordan Geist-Knoch (SP king, record holder and now multiple throws threat), and now Ayden Owens - North Allegheny (multiple hurdle star now national HS champ by a TON in the decathlon--and he is only a junior!). We've seen recent performance growth in the SP from Ryan Whiting and Joe Kovacs taking their stances on the world stage and we can look forward to Jordan Geist assuming world class medaling in the near future. May these athletes stay healthy and excited about their sport for the years ahead!

Ayden's Deca score would have also qualified for the Juniors using the HS implements etc. This Junior meet serves a qualifier for the Pam Am Juniors in Peru as this is not a World Juniors year.

Great news--also seeing Geist in the seniors listing in T&F News shows his desire to challenge the best in the world.
