Conversion from Flat to banked

Will they be using the conversion table(from banked ,oversized) on mile split for the Championship meet. Seems the conversion they have listed on information/guidelines isn't accurate. Thanks Doug

I believe PTFCA uses their own conversions, which differ from Milesplit. For example, they list two State Standards for each running event on their website, one for flat 200m tracks and one for banked/oversized. The banked/oversized standards are slightly faster than the flat...+0.4 for 200, +0.5 for 400, +0.6 for 800, +0.7 for mile and +0.8 for 3K. There are also conversions on their website from 1600m to the mile (+1.6) and 3200m to 3K (-35 boys, -38 girls) and 2-miles to 3K (-38 boys, -41 girls). I think you'll find that the PTFCA conversions are far less generous than the conversion calculator on Milesplit.
