North Pocono Trojan Invitational
For the boys', the host team's Matt Slagus will look for a couple of strong performances in both the shot put and the discus. He's heavily favored in both. In the distance events, North Pocono's David Haines is entered in both the 1600 and 3200 meters as the top seed.
Scranton's Ky'ron Harbin will look to dominate the jumps. Harbin is the top seed in the long jump, triple jump, and high jump in what could be a big day for him.
Lakeland's Madison Harding is making her invitational debut on Friday. The AA state medalist from last year is the top seed in both the 100 meter hurdles and the 300 meter hurdles.
Payden Montana of Berwick is coming off wins at the Olympian Invitational at Jim Thorpe. Now Montana is looking to add a few more wins this weekend at North Pocono. She's the top seed in both events, so look out for the junior. North Pocono's Jessica Slagus will look to provide a challenge in both of those events.
Wyoming Area's Shelby Stackhouse will be the one to watch i the high jump, as the top seed.
