Juan Mato-Segura (Reading) & Cole Peterlin (Perkiomen Valley)

The Skinny: Mato-Segura and Peterlin both sit atop the PA state leaderboards with best jumps of 6-08. Peterlin went 6-8 at the first TFCAofGP of the season and has also cleared 6-06 twice since then. Mato-Segura jumped 6-08 at F&M in December and then went 6-06 at Kutztown last weekend (he also jumped 6-08 at a meet in Puerto Rico earlier this winter).

Looking Ahead: Consistency is everything, particularly in the jumps. Both Mato-Segura and Peterlin have exhibited some great consistency this winter so far. After starting his season off . Of course, an off day at the state meet would leave the door open for another challenger, like reigning state champion Kolt Byers of Bermudian Springs or sophomore standout Kasey Savage of Hatboro-Horsham.
