Neshaminy's Dan Dean has the top returning vault in the state, a 15-3.75 from last year that netted him the victory in the Emerging Elite section at New Balance Nationals Outdoor. He was fourth at indoor states and third at outdoor states, jumping 15-6. He'll be a factor for the state win and the 16-foot mark next year.

The one to beat may be John Franco of Council Rock South. The senior jumped a best of 14-6 last winter and was 12th at indoor states, but really turned the corner into outdoors. He got over 16 feet twice and placed second at outdoor states in AAA on attempts. Franco will be one to watch.

Another returning indoor state medalist is Mason Brubaker of Shikellamy. He PR'd with a 14-6 at the state meet to take sixth. Hempfield Area's Tanner Barnhart also jumped a best of 14-6 to take eighth at indoor states and also earn a medal. Both will be factors for high places again this season.
