Tesia Thomas earned a pair of runner-up state finishes in the triple jump last year between the indoor and outdoor season. Now the West York Area senior will aim to move up to the top spot this winter. Thomas leapt 40-5 in the triple last winter and placed second to one of the best to ever do it in PA, Christina Warren. But Warren is off to Arizona State and Thomas will look to seize the opportunity and take home state gold this winter.

Also back this year is last year's third place state finisher, Tia Taylor of Saint Basil Academy. She jumped a best of 38-11 last year and jumped 38-9 at states to grab bronze. Friends' Central Inara Shell was fifth last year at indoor states. She leapt of best of 37-10.25 last season. Both Taylor and Shell should be factors to challenge for the state win in the TJ.
