Abinusawa's 7.32 Is No. 1: Top 500 Girls 60m Returners

Before one Pennsylvania sprint legend graduated last year, another terrific sprint talent was already making her presence known. Germantown Academy's Fore Abinusawa proved to be a great rival to Thelma Davies last winter. Abinusawa, as a freshman last year, burst on to the sprint scene and nearly topped Davies is an historic 60 meter state final.

Abinusawa came away second in 7.32, a time that stands at PA No. 2 all-time. Davies, meanwhile, ran to the state record in 7.31. A few weeks later, Davies would lower that state record to 7.30 at nationals. But Davies is off to LSU and Abinusawa is now the top girl in the short sprints in PA. She'll surely chase after Davies state record in the 60, among other events, and she'll look to capture the state title as well.

There's some good sprint talent also back after the sophomore sensation. Saucon Valley's Talitha Diggs, who will likely focus on the 200 and 400 on the state level, will still drop some quick 55/60 meter times this winter. She wen...
