VOTE: Boys Cross Country Athlete of the Week (8/28 - 9/4)

There were some incredible performances over the last few days. Each week we will nominate multiple athletes and allow you to vote for the Runner of the Week. This week's poll will close on September 8th, at 4:00 pm ET.

This Week's Candidates:

Ryan Pajak (Ringgold) - Won the Mingo Scrimmage with his PA #1 15:17 5K. Pajak gapped the field early, and the junior ran to a 32-second win. Later in the week, Pajak ran an impressive 16:05 to win the Boys Fire race at the Marty Uher Vulcans Invitational. He won that race by a minute.

Gavin Mogck (Penncrest) - With his win at the Northampton Cross Country Invitational, Mogck set the PA #2 time with his 15:38. Thanks significantly to his finish, Penncrest finished second as a team.

Joshua Jones (Grove City Area) - Jones earned the individual win as he led a team 1-2-3 sweep at the Rocket Invitational. Jones achieved the 17-second victory while simultaneously posting a Top-Five time on the young season. His team earned the dominant win.

Drew Griffith (Butler)- Won the Steel race at the Marty Uher Vulcans Invitational. Griffith ran an impressive 16:05 on the challenging course and earned a 28-second win in a race featuring a lot of 3A talent.

Logan Strawser (East Juniata) - Won the Big Valley Invitational in a stacked field. Strawser ran an impressive 15:44 to earn the victory, outrunning the second-place finisher by 16-seconds. Strawser led his team to a runner-up finish.
