The Rundown:

Bartram Motivation has a trio of girls in Palmer, Cornish and Clay who could all compete for the individual title. With those three up-front, they should be hard to beat, but GAMP does have a chance. The battle for the only automatic bid, could come down to the fifth runner for each team.

The Rundown:

Lansdale Catholic should be the team champion when all is said and done on Thursday. With a 22-minute average (based on season best 5K), they swing 1:30 ahead of the next team. Three of their girls have run sub-22, more than any other team in this race. Archbishop Ryan and Msgr Bonner & Abp Prendergast, should be in contention for second.

Gwen Hamilton will run away from the field on Thursday. She is the only girl in the field who has broke 20-minutes this season. She ran 19:18 at Paul Short this year to finish 17th in her race. The Freshman won the Philadelphia Public League Championships, and has been on a tear all season.

Realistically, Central should dominate. We could see them placing five in the top-7. Cardinal O'Hara could finish in that second transfer spot, if they have the type of day that they're capable of. They have Sarah Lorenz and Joanie Quinn up front, but a small fall off after them.

Individually, its Emma Chrismer's race to lose. She just won the Philadelphia Public League Championship in a personal best 20:39. Lorenz could certainly contend for the win. She was third at the Philadelphia Catholic League Championships last week.
