Tehya Noell of Engineering and Science ran a PA#3 43.84 to win the 300 meter hurdles. Karli Visconto of Nazareth Academy ran 5:06.02 to cruise in the 1600 meter run. Overbrook ran a PA#8 49.42 to edge out Upper Darby in the 4x100 meter relay. Claudine Andre of Upper Darby finished 2nd in the long jump with a PA#2 mark of 18 feet even.
For the boys, Christian Brissett of Cheltenham ran a PA#3 10.82 to win the 100 meter dash. Tyler Whitmore of Upper Moreland ran 22.11 (PA#5 21.99 prelims) to win the 200 meter dash. Kyle Francis of Bensalem ran a PA#3 1:54.71 to win the 800 meter run. Donaldo Benjamin of Delaware Valley Charter ran a PA#2 14.37 to win the high hurdles. Cheltenham ran 43.09 to win the 4x100 meter relay. Sam Reid of Central threw 158-5 to win the discus.
Eric Diestelow of West Chester East won the 1600 (4:25.15) and 3200 meter runs (9:46.10). Francis Peabody of Unionville won the 400 (50.81) and 200 meter dashes (22.85). For the girls, McKenna Keegan of Avon Grove ran 58.07 to win the 400 meter dash and earn PA#7 honors. Liz McGroarty of Garnet Valley ran 5:14.52 to win the 1600 meter run.
Jimmy Wheeler of West Mifflin won the 100 (11.15) and 200 meter dashes (22.65) and took home the long jump crown (20-1.50). For the girls, Chandler Killins of West Mifflin jumped 35-6 to win the triple jump.
Aspen Gaita of Stroudsburg ran 14.60 to win the high hurdles, jumped 17-7.50 to win the long jump and cleared 5-2 to win the high jump. Taylor Watkins of Elk Lake threw 122-3 to win the javelin. For the boys, Demetrius Lanier of East Stroudsburg South won the 100 (11.19) and 200 meter dashes (22.63). Joseph Espinal of Wilson (11) won the 1600 (4:25.51) and 800 meter runs (1:59.76). Ryan Wilkes of Valley View cleared 15 feet to win the pole vault. Alize Graham of East Stroudsburg North won the long jump (21-9) and triple jump (44-4).
Joseph Armstrong of Lakeview threw 152-6 to win the discus. For the girls, Hannah Drake of Wilmington won the long jump (17-4.50) and the triple jump (36-10.25). Teammate Julie Falvo threw 133-2 to win the discus.
Luke Rarig of Southern Columbia ran 14.79 to win the high hurdles and 40.45 to win the 300 meter hurdles. Bobby Kerestes of Hanover cleared 6-5 to win the high jump. AJ Stevens of Pottsville jumped 45 feet to win the triple jump.
For the girls, Courtney McCartney of Selinsgrove threw a state leading 46-6 to win the shot put. Carter Green of North Schuylkill threw 132-1 to win the discus. Sarah Lombel of Pottsville won the 100 (12.90) and 200 meter dashes (26.83). Teammate Paige Stoner ran 5:09.57 to win the 1600 meter run.
Cyre Virgo of Fleetwood won the high jump (5-4) and the high hurdles (15.65). Kelly Liebl of Ephrata jumped 17-0.50 to win the long jump. For the boys, Malik Jones of Ridley ran a PA#4 49.57 to win the 400 meter dash. Morgan Shigo of Fleetwood won the shot put (55-2) and the discus (162-5).
Griffin Molino of South Williamsport stole the show in the 1600 meter run, running solo with splits of 61, 63, 65 and 63 seconds to smash the 4:24 meet record and make it 4:12.93! His performance is over a ten second personal best and is PA#2 this season! He also won the 3200 meter run in 9:36.84. Tyler Burger of Northwest Area won the high hurdles (15.11) and the intermediate hurdles (40.87). Joshua Brown of Milton Area threw 186-10.75 to win the discus. For the girls, Emily Campbell of Slippery Rock won the shot put (40-5) and the discus (state leading 141-10.25).
Luke Smorey of Baldwin threw a state leading and US#5 mark of 201 feet to win the javelin. Gary Jackson of Baldwin jumped 22-2.75 to win the long jump and 41-7.75 to win the triple jump. For the girls, Kaden Hinish of Baldwin jumped 16-7.50 to win the long jump.
Pennsbury girls became the new state leader in the 4x800 meter relay with their winning time 9:23.40!
Central Bucks West also earned a US top ten performance, winning the Sprint Medley Relay with a US#7 time of 4:02.99!
Pennridge ran a PA#5 48.81 to win the 4x100 meter relay and ran 1:42.69 to win the 4x200 meter relay. Central Bucks South ran a PA#2 12:20.74 to win the distance medley relay. Central Bucks East ran a PA#3 3:56.67 to edge out PA#6 CB West (3:58.88) in the 4x400 meter relay!
Ariana Przybylowski of Pennridge jumped a PA#8 17-8.75 to win the long jump.
Taylor Hojnacki of Central Bucks South won the shot put (40 feet even) and the discus (130-8).
Shannon Taub of Council Rock South won the triple jump (36-0.75) and the high jump (5-5).
For the boys, Council Rock North ran 18:12.63 to win the 4x1600 meter relay and 43.45 to win the 4x100 meter relay. Council Rock South was 2nd under ten seconds back.
Pennsbury ran a PA#3 7:58.79 to win the 4x800 meter relay and won the 4x400 meter relay with a PA#5 time of 3:22.60. Julien Freeman of Harry S Truman jumped 44-0.25 to win the triple jump.
Great Valley girls took home the 4x100 (PA#6 48.83), the 4x400 (PA#4 3:57.92) and distance medley relays (PA#3 12:27.99) on their home track! Cardinal O'Hara set a meet record in the 4x1600 meter relay with a time of 21:02.68. Claudine Andre of Upper Darby and Megan McClockey of Germantown Academy cleared 5-7 in the high jump to move to within one inch of the 4 state leaders who sit at 5-8. Kennedi Van Eyken of Downingtown East jumped a PA#9 37 feet even to win the triple jump.
For the boys, Central won the 4x200 (1:30.70) and 4x400 meter relays (3:25.83). Penn Charter ran a PA#5 7:59.25 to win the 4x800 meter relay. Cardinal O'Hara made it a sweep in the 4x1600 meter relay with their winning time of 17:32.06. Aaron Webb of Pottsgrove cleared 6-6 to win the high jump. Blair Wilkins of Downingtown West jumped 22-4.75 to win the long jump. Sam Reid of Central threw a PA#4 57-5.50 to win the shot put and 151-9 to win the discus.
HIGHLIGHTS: The AA girls meet features 800 meter runner up Shannon Quinn of Trinity (3). In AAA girls, indoor 4x800 All Americans State College go head to head with the outdoor champions Palmyra in the 4x800 meter relay. For the AA boys, Dominic Hockenbury of Lake Lehman and William Kachman of Bedford will square off in the 3200 meter run. AAA boys sets up to be a very deep meet. The Lower Dauphin duo of Jeff Groh and Cole Nissley will be running the 1600 and 3200 meter runs and will dare anyone to run with them. Patrick Reilly of Dallastown will be a big threat in the 3200 meter run after running 9:35 last week. Groh is also in the 800 meter run, where Will Cather of State College will be waiting.
Wissahickon boys ran a state leasing 42.50 to win the 4x100 meter relay and a state leading 1:27.53 to win the 4x200 meter relay. Chris Stone of Springfield Montco cleared 6-6 to win the high jump. For the girls, Wissahickon ran a meet record 9:41.16 to win the 4x800 meter relay and ran a meet record and PA#8 4:00.49 to win the 4x400 meter relay.
Makayla Eberly of Coatesville ran 59.48 to finish 2nd in the 400 meter dash. Coatesville ran 50.09 to finish 2nd in the 4x100 meter relay. Neumann Goretti finished 2nd in the 4x400 meter relay with a PA#6 time of 3:58.49. Amanda Simone of Archbishop Ryan cleared 5-2 to win the high jump. For the boys, Marlowe Tooles of Coatesville ran 1:59.92 to finish 2nd in the 800 meter run. Teammate Mike Burton ran 14.89 to finish 2nd in the high hurdles. Coatesville ran 3:24.76 to win the 4x400 meter relay. Darrik Muroski of Coatesville won the shot put (53-7.25) and finished 2nd in the discus (PA#3 166-1).
