Angel Piccirillo enters her senior season as one of the top distance runners in Pennsylvania, as well as the U.S. Bursting on the scene as a sophomore - Piccirillo won her first of two indoor state mile titles, first of two outdoor 1600 meter titles and first of two Penn Relays COA titles. So far in her senior year, she has added a second state title in AA cross country, and a Northeast Region title and 2nd Foot Locker Finalist qualifier. -

2012 Track Chats - Christine Streisel
Welcome to Track Chats 2012! We continue with thrower Christine Streisel from Tamaqua HS in Pennsylvania. Christine recently popped a big 160-11 PR in the javelin at the Tamaqua Blue Raider Invitational, making her US#2 in the event. Christine is ready to go this season, with the Penn Relays just around the corner it is not a bad time to be throwing so well! -

Millersville University nixes alumni deal to fund men's track, XC
A Millersville University grad offered $300,000 as part of an alumni proposal to run men's track and cross country for three years while the alumni look for permanent funding. On Monday, alumni learned the university had rejected the proposal.
