Downingtown West Spring Invitational Olivia Young of Unionville was the first PA girl this spring to break the 5 minute mark in the 1600 meter run, winning the race in 4:59.58.
Crosby Spiess of Great Valley ran 2:18.76 to win the 800 meter run. The meet also saw the return of one of the top freshmen during the cross country season.
Aislinn Devlin of Downingtown West won the 3200 meter run in a PA#7 11:08.52. Alyson Hall of West Chester East won the 100 (13.32) and 200 meter dashes (26.37).
For the boys, Stephen Fiorentino of Methacton won the high hurdles (15.38) and the intermediate hurdles (40.80). Spring Ford ran a PA#5 8:04.38 to win the 4x800 meter relay.

13th Bruce Dallas Invitational ![]() Great Lindsley of Penn Manor ran like the runner who was contending for state titles last spring. The AAA 1600 meter silver medalist won the 1600 meter run with a PA#3 time of 5:06.83. Another 2013 state medalist made an impression on a windy track, as AA 800 meter silver medalist Shannon Quinn of Trinity ran a then-state leading 2:17.44 to win the 800 meter run.
Sierra Brabhim-Lawrence of Harrisburg is back on top of the high hurdles list, winning the 100 meter hurdles in 14.41. She finished 2nd in the 300 meter hurdles to Rachel Dececco of Cumberland Valley, who ran 45.46 for PA#3 honors.
Bre Manzolillo of Schuylkill Valley cleared a meet record 11-4 to win the pole vault.
Erika Miller of Schuylkill Valley jumped a PA#2 17-9 to win the long jump. Taylor Pugh of Milton Hershey tops the state list in the triple jump with a winning mark of 37-1. Anna Bailey of Bishop McDevitt threw a PA#5 134-4 to win the javelin. For the boys, Jeff Groh of Lower Dauphin ran a meet record and PA#3 time of 1:56.10 to win the 800 meter run. His teammate Cole Nissley ran a PA#4 time of 9:40.57 to win the 3200 meter run.
Chance Post of Conestoga Valley won the high hurdles (15.11) and the intermediate hurdles (38.99).

Chanel Brissett of Cheltenham showed that she can hurdle as well as sprint, running 14.95 to win the 100 meter hurdles. Kaelyn Heinicke of Council Rock North ran 5:01.53 to win the 1600 meter run. Maddie Villalba of Central Bucks West became the new state leader in the 800 meter run with a meet record time of 2:15.20. Central Bucks West also took over the state lead in the 4x400 meter relay with a winning time of 4:02.15. Shannon Taub of Council Rock South won three field events and set two meet records. Meet Summary by Phil Grove Double winners, near doublers and a pair of distance standouts from North Allegheny grabbed attention at the Tri-State Track Coaches Association outdoor championships. Sophomore Madeleine Davison of North Allegheny battled the wind, cold and occasional flurries to register a PA#1 and school record 10:39.08 in the 3,200-meter run. The old record of 10:46 was held by former state cross country champion Stephanie Madia, who also was an All-American harrier at Notre Dame. Jillian Hunsberger of Mt. In the girls’ throwing events, a pair of PA#1 efforts was recorded in the cold weather. Kailyn Clancy of California Area grabbed the state lead in the shot put with a winning heave of 39 feet, 9 inches, while Deilona DeVaughn of West Mifflin is PA#1 in the discus after her win at 135-3 and Clancy moved to PA#2 with a runner-up toss of 126-6. And in the javelin, Sarah Stanley of South Park claimed gold with a PA#2 137-7, while Madison Wiltrout of Connellsville was close behind at PA#3 137-2. On the girls’ side, Ally Bartoszewicz of Vincentian Academy twice beat Jasmine Jones of Hempfield Area and Taylor McCorkle of Oakland Catholic to the line in the sprints. Bartoszewicz ran 12.74 in the 100 final to Jones’ 12.83 and 12.87 for McCorkle after clocking 12.71 in the prelims. Over a half-lap, Bartoszewicz was first in a PA#3 25.67 to a PA#6 25.91 for Jones and 26.68 for McCorkle. Other winners were Claire Dougherty of Mt. Lebanon in a PA#8 1:00.84 in the 400 and a 2:23.25 for first in the 800 over Gateway’s Ayanna Crawford and her 2:23.85. Reigning Class A cross country champion Marianne Abdalah of Vincentian was third in 2:25.72. Earlier in the meet, Kelsey Potts of Mt. Lebanon won the 1,600 in 5:06.07 to Abdalah’s 5:07.54. Top 10 performers Bailey Cooper of Ringgold and Natalie Corrado of Mt. Lebanon won the hurdle events, with Cooper’s 15.65 edging Plum’s Ashley Amato and her PA#6 15.66 in the 100s. Later in the 300s, Corrado got the best of Cooper, with the top two running 47.34 and 47.75. Jessica Stever of Indiana Area is now T-PA#8 with her 5-3 clearance, while Abby Wagner of Altoona is PA#6 with her 35-5 performance in the triple jump. Boys’ shot winner Max Adams of Hempfield is now PA#5 at 51-8.5, while Matt Larkin of North Allegheny is PA#8 at 50-4.
In the girls’ 4x100, Norwin is now PA#5 with a winning 50.72, while Hempfield clocked a PA#8 50.98. One of the marquee matchups was in the boys’ 110 hurdles, and the outcome did not disappoint as three of the top four finishers from this year’s state indoor championship meet turned into stellar performances. Indoor champion Montae Nicholson of Gateway was fastest in the prelims (14.78) and again in the final as his winning 14.55 is now PA#2. Matthew Bernadowski of Elizabeth Forward was second in a PA#7 14.95, and PA#3 Mitch Valko of South Fayette ran 15.00 for third. Nicholson also was a winner in the long jump, spanning a PA#7 22-1.5 to defeat Isaiah Brooks of Woodland Hills and his PA#11 21-5.75. Boys Highlights
PA#2 James Smith of Upper St. Clair turned back a pair of top 10 performers in the 800, with his 1:56.21 better than the PA#6 1:58.79 by Penn Hills’ Dylin Wilhoite and the PA#8 1:59.93 by Andrew Koryak of Vincentian Academy. On the boys’ side, NA’s Matt Mcgoey cranked out eight laps in a state-leading 9:26.14, while teammate Hunter Wharrey is now PA#6 at 9:46.60. Earlier, Koryak won the 1,600 in a PA#6 4:30.13, while Wilhoite was next in 4:33.83. Bobby Upton of North Allegheny moved to PA#2 with his clearance of 14-0 in the pole vault, while runner-up Bobby Monteparte of Hempfield and third-place finisher Caleb Sanford of McDowell are now T-PA#5 at 13-6. Baldwin’s Luke Smorey climbed into PA#2 with a winning throw of 181-8 in the javelin, while Corey Denlinger of Indiana Area is PA#4 at 177-5 and Andrew Manz of North Allegheny threw a T-PA#6 173-5. Also, Isaac Fritz of North Allegheny won the 300 hurdles in 41.05 after claiming fourth in the 110s in a PA#11 15.18. Boys’ shot winner Max Adams of Hempfield is now PA#5 at 51-8.5, while Matt Larkin of North Allegheny is PA#8 at 50-4.
