Boys' Relay Preview - PTFCA Indoor Track Carnival

PA#3 Wilson leads this field into Saturday. The District 3 squad went 1:31.22 at Ocean Breeze a few weeks ago and will look for a strong race at Lehigh. Central Dauphin East, which ran an impressive 1:32.62 at F&M on a flat track a few weeks ago should be able to give them a good challenge. J.P. McCaskey, Chester, Penn Wood, and William Allen will also be strong in what should be a very exciting relay.
4x400m
Abington is always strong in the 4x400-meter relay and they will among the top seeds in Saturday's Carnival. Chester will look for a strong race, too. They come in at PA#7 and should be a team worth watching for. Penn Wood, Perkiomen Valley, and William Allen are among the other entries.
4x800m
Looking to start the day off on the right foot will be the Abington boys. The Ghosts enter the weekend at PA#7 in a crowded 4x8. Penn Wood, Haverford, Twin Valley, and Hempfield will also look to get in on the mix and makes moves in the rankings to solidify state qualifiers.
Distance Medley Relay
Spring Ford enters as the top-seeded team in this field at PA#9. Ephrata has run a PA#5 in the 4x8, but on Saturday we'll see what this talented bunch can do in the DMR. Abington, Methacton, Jenkintown, and Radnor are among the other teams that could make some noise here.
