Matt Eissler (Pennridge) & Jonah Hoey (Bishop Shanahan)
The Skinny: Eissler ran a PA#1 at the Kevin Dare Invitational with a 1:55.85. A week earlier, Hoey went 1:56.38 (PA#2) at the Marine Corps Classic. They are the only two PA boys to have run sub-1:58 this season. Last year, the pair closed out their respective outdoor seasons with PRs at the John Hay Distance Festival with Hoey running 1:52.59 and Eissler going 1:53
Looking Ahead: Eissler will likely have relay duties with his strong Pennridge squad, but expect the two to face-off at the indoor state meet. This will be a duel to track throughout the rest of the winter and into the spring. These won't be putting down Josh Hoey times (Jonah's older brother), but expect some very quick
