Ryan Pajak set a PA #1 in 15:17 at the Mingo Scrimmage, grabbing his first of two invitational wins on the week. Pajak set a fast pace early as the Junior ran to a 32-second win in a strong field. Then just a few days later, Pajak toed the line at the Marty Uher Vulcans Invitational. He pushed hard, despite the difficult nature of the course, and came away with his second win of the week, a 16:05.
He won that race by a near minute and has officially put the rest of 2A on notice. He is officially undefeated this year and we can't wait to watch him take the course again this week at Red, White and Blue.
Wren Kucler earns Runner of the Week honors also after having Won the Mingo Scrimmage. She too set a hot pace early and came away with the win in 18:34. She finished about 50-seconds ahead of the next finisher and currently sits at PA #6.
Further, she will be racing this weekend at Red, White and Blue and we look forward to watching her run again. We recently caught up with Kucler and her team, as we filmed a Workout Wednesday which you can watch below:
