Wren Kucler earned the honors after leading a North Allegheny 1-2-3 at the Red, White and Blue Classic. She covered the challenging White Oak park course in 17:45, which is the third fastest time in course history.
Kucler earned a 136 Speed Rating for the effort, which is also one of the fastest in the state thus far this year. With her leading the line-up, North Allegheny earned a convincing victory.

On the Boys' Side, Brian McCormack won the County Commissioners Invitational and also ultimately led his team to a team title. He scorched the course and laid down a 15:39 5K, which ranks as the tenth fastest of the year.
Without McCormack in the race, Scranton would have placed fourth in the team race. The senior's hot start to the season has resulted in three straight recorded individual wins. He'll look to carry that momentum into the mid-part of the 2023 campaign.
