The race is on to get into Friday's Championship of America in the 4x800 and it will start things off on Thursday morning with four heats, with each featuring a few PA teams. Jamaica's Holmwood Tech and Edwin Allen, along with New Jersey's Union Catholic are among the top teams to watch in this field, but PA should be well-represented in the CoA.

Haverford is the top-ranked PA team in the field, having run 9:32 this season. CB South has also run 9:32 and should be a factor. Penn Charter ran 9:18 indoors (the fastest in PA this winter), while indoor state champs State College Area (9:24) are a squad to watch for.

High School Girls' Distance Medley Relay - Thursday, 4:40 P.M.

PA Entries: Germantown Friends; Mechanicsburg Area; West Chester Rustin

A trio of PA teams are set for the DMR on Thursday evening. Rustin went 12:11 indoors, and brings in a talented quartet that should compete for a high finish this week. Mechanicsburg led off its season with a strong 12:28 outdoors, and should be a team to keep an eye on. Germantown Friends went 12:54 indoors.

Up front, Saratoga Springs (NY) is the team to beat with a 11:44 from the indoor season. Colts Neck (NJ) and West Springfield (VA) are among the other teams competing up for the wheel.
