Freshman Sarah Clark led Villa Maria Academy to a third-place finish in the Knox-C Invitational in East Aurora, N.Y. Clark, who finished 12th in the Class A-AA race earlier this year at Red, White & Blue, was edged by 13-hundredths of a second by Holly Arrison of the Nichols School and her 19:31.06. The Victors had 129 points to finish behind Newfane (60) and Maple Grove (95) in the Varsity Small standings.
