As we enter the final weeks of the season, we thought it would be helpful to generate a Team Power Ranking Index based on current state rankings. Please note that these rankings do not include conversions from similarly distanced events and only include races that will be run at PTFCA.
How were these scores determined?
Essentially we took current individual and relay rankings and put all scoring teams/individuals in a meet with eachother. At a championship event, a first place finish (or ranking) would be worth 10 points. So for example, Jayden Horton-Mims is currently ranked first in the 200m and 400m, earning 20 points for Imhotep Institute Charter.
This week's changes - Coatesville and Episcopal Academy each bolstered their scores with strong weekend finishes. Butler moved up to third after putting together a PA No. 3 4x800m.
Roman Catholic jumped up to sixth from 14th after Julian Ward ran a 6.91 60m dash.
