Crestwood's Molly DeMarzo repeated as Cliff Robbins champ on Saturday. Now a sophomore, DeMarzo went 19:47 to take the Week 1 win for a second straight season. Lake Lehman's Abby Paczewski took second in 20:05.
Scranton took top team honors with 58 points, as Montrose came away in second.
For the second straight year, Josh Christianson came away with a season-opening win at Cliff Robbins. The Scranton senior defended his title with a 17:02 for the win in Dallas, Pa. Wyoming Valley West's Tavian McKenna ran a nice PR to take second in 17:11.
The Christianson-led Scranton squad earned the win with 93 points, with Lake Lehman taking second with 152 points.
