Wilmington's Grace Mason returns to Hershey on Saturday. The last time she was there, she placed third at the state meet. Now on Saturday, she'll look for a similar performance. She'll face a good test from Northern's Lehigh's Reagan Pender, who was sixth at states last year, but second at Foundation.
Our Lady of Sacred Heart's Haley Hamilton always runs well at Hershey. She was third at Foundation and seventh at states. She'll be one to watch. Elk Lake's Krista Jones, Clarion Area's Evelyn Lerch, Penns Valley's Kelsey Hull, and Camp Hill's Laura Sakol are among the other top entries in the field. Sakol is yet to open up, but could be a serious factor in this race if she toes the line.
The team race will be a good matchup between PA-1A No. 4 Wilmington and PA-1A No. 5 Camp Hill. Wilmington is coming off a strong showing at Boardman after earning wins already this season at Hickory and West Middlesex. Camp Hill won the 1A race at Big Spring last week without Sakol in the lineup. If Sakol returns this week, Camp Hill will get a big boost.
Vincentian Academy, Reynolds, Tri-Valley, and Cranberry are among the other strong teams in this White Race field.
