Meet Preview: PTFCA Indoor Track Carnival

Boys Sprints/Hurdles Preview - PTFCA Carnival

60m: Marian Catholic's Michael Fellin has held the PA No. 1 spot in the 60m dash since early December and he'll look to improve on his state-leading 6.88 in the event on Saturday. But PA No. 2 Kristian Phennicie of Dallastown will make this a close one. Phennicie has run 6.90 this season. Danville's Jackson Clarke (PA#9) is another one to watch for in this field.

200m: Phennicie returns in what is probably his best event: the 200m. The reigning outdoor AAA state champion in the event will be the one to beat, with good competition from the up-and-coming Clarke.

400m: Manheim Township's Darren Cammauf (PA#6) comes in as the top seed here with a 50.09 from F&M a few weeks ago. He'll look to dip under 50 seconds, but he'll have competition from Luke Noss of Cumberland Valley, Walton Garnett of Chester, and Regent Walden of Plymouth Whitemarsh.

60m Hurdles: Southern Columbia's Jake Rose has been rolling in the hurdles this season. He went 7.95 at the VA Showcase and has been PA#1 ever since. PA#3 Anthony Collins of Truman will look to supply a challenge to the state favorite Rose.

Relays: PA#4 Penn Wood is the top-ranked team in the 4x200m relay, while PA#1 Penn Wood will also look to hold off Cumberland Valley and Pennridge in the 4x400m relay.
