Meet Preview: PTFCA Indoor Track Carnival

Girls Distance Preview - PTFCA Carnival

800m: Cumberland Valley's Ashley Pines enters as PA#7 and she'll look to climb up the state rankings. Easton's Sophie Emin, Penn Charter's Dani Shipon, and State College's Grace Morningstar should make this a close race. Expect to see a number of top ten state times in this race.

Mile: Claire Paci of Greencastle-Antrim is the one to beat here, making her mile season debut on the heels of a 10:30 3K earlier this season. She went 5:04 for 1,600m last spring. Bloomsburg's Maizy Aikey, Radnor's Lucy Henkel, and Friends' Central's Miracle Price are the others to watch for.

3K: There's some good talent in this field, headlined by Downingtown West's Carolyn Tarpley, Dallastown's Lydia Tolerico, and Mechanicsburg's Hope McKenney.

Relays: Penn Charter rolled to an impressive PA#1 at the Millrose Games to take second in the 4x8. The Quakers return to the 4x800m relay on Saturday and will be the team to beat. The DMR should be a really good race, too, as Penn Charter goes up against Friends' Central, State College Area, Academy of Notre Dame, West Chester Rustin, and Central Bucks South
