Kiski Area Invitational - Meet Recap
GIRLS: In a race between some top freshman, Central Cambria's Stella Kuntz came out on top. The ninth grader went 19:56, the only girl under 20 minutes on the day to capture the overall win. Greensburg Central Catholic's Corinn Brewer placed second in 20:14.
Central Cambria used its mix of young and veteran talent to capture the A/AA team title with 26 points to beat second place Marion Center Area. In AAA, Pine-Richland stacked its top five in spots four through eight to take the team win with 30 points. Kiski's Kierra Shreffler was the top individual finisher in AAA, coming in at 20:42.
BOYS: Mount Lebanon once again flexed its muscle, winning with 32 points. Lebo put three in the top four and four in the top eight. Patrick Anderson picked up his second win of the season, running 17:16 on the challenging terrain to get first. Peter Cosentino was second.
Central Cambria was second overall and the top AA team in the field. Fox Chapel Area, without top runner Christian Fitch, was third in the team standings.
