Top Ranked Boys Distance Runners as of Jan 7th

The distance runners in PA have been nothing short of elite this year so far. Carter Smith tops the list in the 1600m and mile while being 3rd on the 3k list. He has yet to open up over 800m but with a junior year pr of 1:48 he should top that list as well. As of now Noah Popp leads the way over 800m, running 1:54 in mid-December. The 3k and 3200m are led by the PIAA AAA State champ in XC Travis Furmanski 9:12 for 3200m in early December and had an en route 3k split of 8:40.
