The girls have wasted no time setting dazzling early season times through their own dominant performances. The three fastest times of the early season were all set at the Northampton Cross Country Invitational. That meet, saw a dominant performance by Virginia Kraus of Moravian Academy.

In the win, Kraus ran a quick 17:55 to set the PA #1 and US #46. She ran from the front early and never looked back. In just her first year, Kraus has set the fastest PIAA 1A time since 2015.

Lana Hurwitz (Parkland) holds the second fastest time of the year. She finished about 30-seconds behind Kraus at the Northampton Invitational, but her effort should not be discounted. She holds her mark, despite this being her first cross country season for Parkland.

Madelyn McCartney ran 18:30 at the same meet. Considering it was her High School debut, all signs point to it being a strong year for the freshman.
