Five boys return under 16 minutes, led by the only defending state champion on the boys side, Carter Smith, who won the 3A title for Miflin County with a time of 15:41. Nicholas Mazzeo of Lower Merion was a close second in that race and returns No. 2 amongst all division returners at 15:45.
The top 2A championship returner is Jonah Montagnese of Quaker Valley, who finished seventh as a sophomore running 16:26 last fall and is matched up 10th amongst all returners.
The top 1A race returner is Gabe Simkiss, who finished third as a sophomore last November, with a time of 16:28 ranked 11th overall as an overall returner.
