If the cross country season has been any indicator as to how talented PA boys distance runners are, then we should expect to see more of that action on the track. Many impressive performers from last indoor season will be ditching their cross spikes and for the oval office very soon. We're listing the top returning distance/middle-distance individuals from last year's indoor season.

Coming back to defend his 800 meter run title is Jacob Puhalla (Moon Area). Puhalla took the win last year in 1:52.51, nearly two seconds ahead of second place. The University of Louisville commit went on to place 4th at the PIAA 3A Outdoor State Championship last spring. Coming back another year stronger, it will be exciting to see what he can do.

Anthony Engle (Twin Valley) is another strong returner in the 800. Last year he took 4th place running 1:55.52. There are a slew of other runners right behind them.
