The last time we ranked the Class of 2026, it was September 14th. At that point, the fastest time by a freshman was a 16:35. Since then, six boys have run faster, and three have run the fastest times we have ever seen by Pennsylvania Freshmen (in MileSplit's history).

Interestingly, Parker Warkentine has run the three fastest times by a freshman boy in Pennsylvania this year. He has run 15:40, 15:40 and 15:45. He most recently finished seventh at the District 1 Championship and 30th at the State Championship (3A). Dating back to 2000, we haven't seen any other freshman boy run as quick Warkentine. While it is not an official record, we think it would stand the tests of a history book. 

And Warkentine is just the first of a three headed beast. Justin Landis and Chase Choudhry join Warkentine on an exclusive list. They run number 1, 2 and 3 on the list of fastest times by freshmen all-time.
