The 2024 Cross season is underway. Before things get too busy, we wanted to refresh you with our top 1000 returning XC times. Though XC times aren't a perfect indicator of the best athletes in the state, the provide a baseline for which girls to look at.
Olivia Cieslak (Haverford) leads the list. She won the District 1 Championship in 2023, but missed the PIAA State Championship after rolling her ankle. She'll be back in action this year, and she is one of the early favorites in 3A.
The Two-time 1A Champion, Virginia Kraus, sits in second. She ran 17:40 last year at the Foot Locker Northeasr Regional. She already opened her season with a 17:44 at the Lions Invitational. She is competing for Saucon Valley in 2024. She previously competed for Moravian Academy.
Wren Kucler and Robin Kucler will certainly be in the mix. They are both contending for Individual 3A titles and the 3A team title.
