The Old Folks, our seniors. They have been lighting up the XC course this year, setting fast times everywhere and leading their teams to victory. Perhaps it should be no surprise that the seniors owned the course in Lehigh for Friday's Paul Short Run. In the Brown Race for example, seniors occupied the twelve of the first thirteen positions.
The seniors flexed their muscles to remind the field that they've been here before and they know how to get it done. This year it seems as though we have an incredible group of boys who have accomplished more than a lot of classes before them. At this point in the season, 35 boys have broke 16-minutes. Thats more than 2021 saw in the entire season (34) and the most since 2017 (37)... but we have a feeling we'll beat that mark too.
