The Cross Country season is coming quick and with the departure of the class of 2023, new names have climbed into the state's returner rankings. Though we still have Track and Field Events on the addendum, it is time to take a first look at the 2023 Cross Country season.
It is no surprise to see Drew Griffith at the top of the list. For those new to the High School scene in Pennsylvania - just take a peak at his MileSplit profile. Griffith was nothing short of spectacular throughout the 2022-2023 school year and he was able to post some of the best marks in PA History.
On the Cross Country course, he set multiple course records and eventually finished second at the PIAA Championship before running to a Top 10 finish at The Champ Sports National Championship.
Ryan Pajak may be second on this list, but he too was exceptional in 2022-2023. He developed throughout the year and became a much more well-rounded runner towards the end of his junior year. He is still chasing his firs...
