Maybe someone saw this coming, but it wasn't us. Colin Whitaker (Lampeter Strasburg) opened his Cross Country campaign with a blazing 15:04, good for fourth at the adidas XC Challenge. It looks like Ryan Pajak (Ringgold) may have competition in 2A after all.
After Whitaker's performance, 2A boys currently hold three of the top seven times in the state. How about that for parity?
Simon Donovan finished third at the George School Invite, but ran an impressive PA #12 in the process. Aidan McHugh of Episcopal was right behind him and finished in 15:56.
Timothy Roden, Manny Diaz, and Jack Bertram all scored wins at their respective meets to round out the boys who broke 16 this week.
